Summer Holidays & What's On

Who doesn't like Summer?

Especially if you're a kid on their Summer Holiday Break.  A time for Kids to relax and have fun away from School and a time for parents to pull their hair out thinking what to do to entertain the kids for weeks on end....Unless you have things planned already like your holidays away.

My fondest memories of my childhood were our holidays at the seaside with my family.  Funfairs, The roller coasters, paddling in the sea, the beach and sand castles, fish and chips with the seagulls flapping around your head..and getting all messy with slush puppies and icecream....ahhh the memories.

Being at the Seaside isn't the only thing to do of course.  There are lots of other places to go and activities you can get the family involved in.

I've been looking around the Net myself and found some great things to do and interesting places to go for all ages.

An experience to change your lives

National Citizen Service (NCS) is a 2-4 week programme which takes place outside of term time in the spring, summer and autumn holidays.  NCS is proven to have a massive impact on young people’s lives.

It's an experience you really don't want to miss. If you're 15 to 17 years-old, this is your chance to embark on exhilarating challenges, make your mark and build skills for work and life. More than 200,000 young people have already said YES to NCS. Don't. Miss. Out.
